1、 Drilling
Drilling is the process of drilling on solid metal. In the process of drilling, the casting is fixed and all movements are completed by the drill. A rotary drill called fried dough twist drill is used for drilling. Generally, the drill should complete two movements at the same time: main movement and auxiliary movement. The main motion is the rotary motion of the drill around the axis, also known as cutting motion; The auxiliary movement is the linear movement of the drill bit towards the casting along the axis direction, also known as the feeding movement.
2、 Turning and boring
Turning is the process of removing metal from a casting. In the process of machining, while the casting is rotating, the cutter cuts into the casting or turns along the edge of the casting. Boring is a processing method to enlarge the existing holes or cast holes in metal castings. It is completed by feeding while rotating a single edged tool.
